The mythic Korean BBQ Taco Truck (Kogi BBQ) is so good that it somehow manages to live up to its own ridiculous hype.  Only thing that sucks is the long-ass lines (which are only gonna get worse because of Jonathan Gold’s glowing ode in the latest LA Weekly), though they just announced that they’re adding a second truck so they can serve East Side and West Side separately.  Hopefully that’ll make getting some of those sweet-ass shortrib tacos a little less retarded.

Please . Taco Trucks. My best experiences are at Fountain / Western and two blocks east of the echo to your right on the side street. If you want not authentic but kick ass fish taco - Ensenadas Best Fish Taco on Hillhurst. Yelp that shit. Yuca’s is way overrated. And seriously FIRST TACO? God help you.

I second “Best Fish Taco” on Hillhurst.  I live right around the corner from Yuca’s and I’m kind of over it.  I must say though, the best taco in LA is from the TACO ZONE taco truck on Alvarado and Montana in Echo Park (right on the edge of the Ralph’s parking lot).  So fucking good!
